Double J Saddlery is proud to introduce the Pozzi Pro Racer, endorsed by Brittany Pozzi-Pharr.
Brittany’s accomplishments in barrel racing include being the 2002 Texas State High School Champion, 2002 National High School Champion, and 2002 CPRA Rookie of the Year. Prior to starting her NFR run in May of 2003, Brittany brought her horse, Leroy, to our shop to be fitted (our regular barrel racer fit worked on him) and we built her a nice saddle. We are proud that the saddle helped carry her to the 2003 NFR in first place---only the second time that had been accomplished by a rookie. Unfortunately, Leroy became lame during the finals and Brittany finished the year in 7th place overall, but we are extremely proud to have been a part of her successful first year as a pro.

Brittany’s philosophy is that success in barrel racing is 80% horse and 20% rider, and you have to do everything you can to help the horse accomplish his part. In keeping with that attitude, we have designed a saddle tree that fits today’s stouter quarter horse influence in barrel racing. In addition, the saddle has an extra deep seat, and features our 3-way adjustable rig plate which allows you to rig the saddle to fit different horses’ backs.
